Collecting Gravel
With the help of our local friends, we spent the day moving gravel from the river to the MAF base in preparation for the maintenance team laying new cement in our passenger waiting area. We all got soaked in the afternoon rain storm!
Easter Weekend
We had a fun and busy long Easter weekend with visitors, a picnic, Easter Egg Hunt, meals with friends and a visit to one of the local villages. Lots of fun but it ended with saying goodbye, as things so often do in our life in PNG…

Unexpected weekend in Australia
We enjoyed some luxuries in Australia, like shopping at a supermarket and brunch! It was a great opportunity to get away.
The MAF Mareeba Engineers did a great job on P2-MAF!
Dedicating Ankem’s New Church
We spent our Christmas Eve celebrating the opening of a new Church building in our neighbouring village of Ankem, where we have friends and colleagues living. It was a time of thanksgiving to God for his generous provision and so much celebration for the completion of this work which has taken around 8 years!
So long neighbours…
We have 2 expat neighbour families here in Telefomin. We returned home just in time to say hello and goodbye to our Aussie neighbours who are heading on their extended Home Assignment for 6 months. We’re going to miss them!
Praying for Students Exams

Introducing the Newest Member of our Family…

Happy PNG Independence Day!
We’re really glad to be back in Telefomin to celebrate the 47th Anniversary of PNG’s independence!
We are finally Home!
It’s so nice to be back in our home in Telefomin, we were greeted with smiles and flowers when we landed, and found more decorations around our front door. It’s been a busy few days unpacking and doing some maintenance, but we are home now!
