Pictures from our Home in Telefomin 2019
Our veranda which looks out across the airstrip. Ryan made the gate himself.
We’ve lived in the isolated, fly-in community of Telefomin in Sandaun Province, near the border with Indonesia, since February 2018. There is such a rich diversity of culture here, and wonderfully friendly people who have helped to make this village truly feel like home for us.
The MAF base which Ryan flies out from every day. We have 2 aircraft based here in Telefomin with 3 pilots to fly them.
Below are a few pictures of the people and traditional dress of the local community, the Min tribe.
