Update on PNG Fuel Situation
We are so grateful to God that MAF PNG Management have been able to source fuel drums from a local PNG supplier again, reducing MAF's costs, which means we can remove the fuel surcharge at Easter and reduce our flying costs for the people we serve…

Enjoying a walk…
Such a beautiful sight of all the cobwebs covered in dew, as the sun rose shining on them. I couldn’t help but stop and marvel at the beauty of creation all around our home in Telefomin, PNG.

Getting Rid of the Rubbish
Sometimes life is not glamorous, such as when the rubbish needs to be taken out!
Join Shiv and watch the video, yes, a video about taking out the trash!? :-D

Mouldy Kitchen
As well as being a capable pilot and a dog-lover, Ryan is also very handy, which is useful as there’s no electricians, plumbers or carpenters with shops in Telefomin.

Fun with Telefomin Friends
The Christmas Party for my Telefomin Church Fellowship Group. We had such fun and shared lots of food together. I am blessed to have these friends & neighbours!

Challenges & Blessings
We’ve had several break-ins with items stolen recently, the security situation for us in Telefomin is being reviewed by our bosses. Despite these challenges, we still love living here and were recently blessed by some of our friends.

Puppy’s 1st Birthday
Koda recently celebrated his 1st birthday with a home-made bone-shaped liver cookie, as if he wasn’t spoiled enough! He has brought us so much joy and laughter. Here are just a small selection of moments with our beloved puppy, we hope they will make you smile.

Traditional PNG Craft
The traditional craft of Bilum weaving has been passed down through generations in PNG. Bilums are used to carry everything from coins to vegetables to firewood and even babies! Shiv filmed her friends weaving together…

Collecting Gravel
With the help of our local friends, we spent the day moving gravel from the river to the MAF base in preparation for the maintenance team laying new cement in our passenger waiting area. We all got soaked in the afternoon rain storm!

Easter Weekend
We had a fun and busy long Easter weekend with visitors, a picnic, Easter Egg Hunt, meals with friends and a visit to one of the local villages. Lots of fun but it ended with saying goodbye, as things so often do in our life in PNG…

Dedicating Ankem’s New Church
We spent our Christmas Eve celebrating the opening of a new Church building in our neighbouring village of Ankem, where we have friends and colleagues living. It was a time of thanksgiving to God for his generous provision and so much celebration for the completion of this work which has taken around 8 years!

So long neighbours…
We have 2 expat neighbour families here in Telefomin. We returned home just in time to say hello and goodbye to our Aussie neighbours who are heading on their extended Home Assignment for 6 months. We’re going to miss them!

Praying for Students Exams
At Church today we prayed for local school kids who have their important end of year exams in the next couple of weeks.

Introducing the Newest Member of our Family…
This is Daisy, our new puppy who joined our family on 22 September. We think she’s only about 4-6 weeks old, so we’re giving her medicine and feeding her up before puppy training starts in October!

Happy PNG Independence Day!
We’re really glad to be back in Telefomin to celebrate the 47th Anniversary of PNG’s independence!
