Fun with Telefomin Friends

From Shiv…

I had a great day preparing food with friends from my Saturday Fellowship Group. The ladies saved up for months be able to afford to buy chicken and sausages to go with vegetables from their gardens. We had a lot of fun preparing everything together. Their highlight was definitely being able to cook a meal without having to chop a lot of firewood first. As we don’t have neighbours in the MAF house next door right now (or for the foreseeable future), I offered it to my Fellowship friends as a venue for our Christmas Party. I also made cupcakes with rainbow sprinkles on top for dessert, which went down really well. It’s hard to bake cakes over an open fire, and the rainbow sprinkles were sent by Ryan’s sister, not something you can get in our local Trade Stores. ;-)

I’m so blessed to be a part of this beautiful community.

Singing praise to God just before we shared in the meal.
