Farewell to our Fur Baby

We are devastated! After multiple flee & worm treatments, antibiotics, regular cleaning of her sores and eyes, hours and hours of snuggles, finding out her beautiful personality and cheeky playfulness, our little puppy, Daisy, left us on Saturday evening after only 5.5 weeks of being a part of our family.

We had regular contact with our vet-friend, gave her various medicines, puppy food, chicken and lots of love but sadly, her life with us was too short. We don’t know if she was just too sickly to survive or if she picked up Parvo Virus from our lawn (we had planned to vaccinate her on the Monday after she died).

Since returning to our home in Telefomin 6 weeks ago, we have faced many more struggles than we expected and our little fur-baby was a light amongst the darkness. We are now in Mt Hagen for a month whilst Ryan does training, which might be a blessing to get away from our “normal” routine.
